I have been asked to provide recruiting materials that our cadets and their families can use to promote the Naval Sea Cadet Corps the Division for recruitment of cadets and volunteer staff. So I put this page together with a number of different materials I have used over the years. Feel free to download any of the materials on this page and distribute them generously.

Handout Cards This is a page of information handouts in MS Word format. You can print the page of 15 individual handouts, each contianing contact information for the division as well as the division's Wbe site address and CO and XO email. Print, cut and handout.
Commanding Officer's Letter to Parents  
Adult Volunteers Needed This public announcement is ready for sending to your local news media. It contains 294 words, short & to the point. "Patriotic adults are needed in the Suffolk County community area, to work with young people in the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet program..."
Donation Request A 402 word docunment on USNSCC letterhead requesting community support for the program, includes Web site and email contacts/resources.
Public Service Announcement A 53 word public service announcement ready for radio or news release.
Public Service Announcement A 105 word public service announcement ready for radio or news release.
"The Naval Sea Cadet Corps Needs You!" A two-page write-up consisting of 845 words used for recruiting adult volunteers for the officer corps with attention to recruiting those with prior military service.
Recruiting Referral Card This card is a series of two-part cards that we use for recruiting at events. The left side of the card is given to the prospective cadet and the right side is returned to the division staff for contact and followup. Be sure to write the cadet's name on both sides and instruct the person given the card to bring with him/her so the cadet who recruited the new cadet gets credit.

An article prepared by our Public Affairs Officer (PAO) Wayne Spivak that has been distributed nationally and touts the benefits of the NSCC. A bit lengthy at 1,645 words but it is effective in getting the word out.
