We need your help!

The Naval Sea Cadet Corps program needs qualified adults to be role models and provide guidance and leadership to these young people so the program can continue to grow. We also need other forms of support as well. Contributions of money or items of value are deductible from your Income Taxes (please see below for materials that our Division needs). If you would like to help or if you have a son or daughter that you feel may benefit from the program, contact:

You can contribute directly to the Division by making your check payable to

U.S.N.S.C.C.Cadets in formation
Liberty (AGTR-5) Division

Please mail your check to:

U.S.N.S.C.C.
Liberty (AGTR-5) Division

Please send checks (no cash) to:

Commanding Officer
15016 Oak Crest Cr
Montclair, VA 22025

Please contact Commanding Officer LTJG Forrest Woodward if you are able to help us. General contributions are always welcome, but if you would like to sponsor something more specific, click here to see our "wish list."

How will my donation help?

  • Cadets and their parents normally pay these fees however some are not in a position to do so.
  • A donation can help to pay for the training and transportation fees of sending a cadet to East Coast based Advanced Training.
  • A donation can help pay for the training and transportation fees of sending a cadet to West Coast based Advanced Training.
  • ANY donation amount will go to support the maintenance of the Division's Web site and pay for Web service provider fees and to keep us current with up-to-date software.

A donation of any size is appreciated. Smaller donations help defray the cost of uniform items, awards and ribbons, off base local training etc.

DONATIONS OF EQUIPMENT OR RESOURCES

If you are not in a position to donate money, you may contact us to see if a donation of equipment or other resources may help the Division.

We may be able to use your donation within the Division or it may help us in fundraising activities. Please contact us with your questions or ideas.

Donations of standard office equipment and supplies are especially helpful. Desktop or laptop computers, copiers and laminating equipment would help the Division process applications and training orders, prepare the Plan of the Month and produce identification cards. Like every organization, pens, pencils, paper etc. are always needed.

DONATION OF TIME

The Sea Cadet program is also made possible through the countless hours that volunteer Sea Cadet officers put into the program. Contact us if you are interested in donating your time as an adult leader.

Monetary donations would be appreciated to ensure that every cadet who wants to attend summer training is able to do.

WISH LIST

We are in need of a PC Projector. During our monthly drill periods we present classroom instruction to the Cadets. Many of the training is Power Point based, which is important in reinforcing the subjects being taught. Having a PC Projector will allow our volunteer instructors to prepare training materials on their personal laptop computers and conduct that training wherever we are assigned to meet. $1,500.00

BDUs (40 sets @ $20 [incl. tapes & flashes]): While we do not routinely issue BDUs, these would be temporarily issued to cadets wishing to attend trainings that need them, such as SeaBees, SEALS, Master at Arms, and Amphibious Operations. $800.00

Membership & Uniform Scholarships Annual (5/yr): Would allow financially needy youth to join the Aurora Division, providing them with positive role models to encourage a drug-free, gang-free lifestyle. Recipients of these scholarships will be required to perform community service hours in return for this funding. $500.00.

TWT Travel Scholarships Annual (2/yr @ $250): Would allow financially needy cadets to attend out-of-state summer trainings, enhancing their experience and broadening their horizons. Recipients of these scholarships will be required to perform community service hours in return for this funding. $500.00.

Local Travel Expenses (van rentals, etc.): For field trips to area activities, Museums, Parades, Color guard functions, etc. $1,500.00

Patriot's Tour: This is a dream of the CO's; this would be a trip to Washington DC to learn about our country's naval and patriotic heritage. $2,000.00.

Website Hosting & Domain Registration Fees (Annual) $250.00

Please contact us if you are interested in a sponsoring position.

We need Color Guard and Drill Team equipment. We need someone who could provide military helmet liners that we can clean up, repaint and use for the Color Guard. We will be forming and equipping a drill team in the near future too.

COMBINED FEDERAL CAMPAIGN CONTRABUTIONS (CFC)

There are more than ONE THOUSAND AND ONE ways to serve American youth through your support of the Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC), a federally chartered non-profit youth training organization.

The NSCC serves youth by building in every cadet a sense of patriotism, courage, self-reliance, confidence, leadership and the qualities which mold good character and citizenship while providing instruction and practical experience in the prestige of a military career, thus boosting the quality of our nation’s manpower.

You can assist by entering the number “1001” in the appropriate block on the CFC pledge card.

The USNSCC is a registered IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your contribution is tax deductible.
