Liberty Cadets Return from Multiple Summer Camps


Amityville, NY: This summer 24 young men and women, Cadets with the Liberty (AGTR5) Division of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps completed 38 classes with the US Navy as part of a joint program between the Naval Sea Cadets, the US Navy and US Coast Guard.

Cadets participated in the fully in both the educational and military life while learning valuable life skills and technical skills ranging from leadership skills to advanced medical skills, basis recruit training to Master At Arms (law enforcement) training.

The Naval Sea Cadets stress living up to and succeeding in an educational setting up to the limits of each individual.  These summer programs are just part of the process toward the goals of instilling leadership, patriotism, courage, self reliance, teamwork and accountability.

The leadership of the Liberty (AGTR5) Division wishes to congratulate all our Cadets on a job well done!
